The base of a patio and walkway or drive way is the most important part. If there are imperfections in your base then those imperfections will show through to the finish product.  This is why MBE&H uses a product called Gator Base. Gator Base is an interlocking polypropylene substrate that is laid underneath the pavers.  Not only does this create a very strong and durable base the will last it also helps to combat the freeze thaw cycles that we get here in the northeast.  The base works as insulation.  It will keep the ground from freezing quickly and it will keep the ground frozen longer. Which minimizes ground movement through the winter months.  Using  premium products like Gator Base makes it easy to guarantee the quality project you want and deserve.
